This course is designed to build on the core skills of project managers, enabling them to successfully manage complex projects driven by their scale, the level of stakeholder influence, transformation challenges, and associated risks.

1 – Optimising project value creation

  • Positioning the project within its environment, portfolio or programme to ensure strategic alignment

2 – Defining the implementation strategy for the project

  • Selecting the appropriate development approach (by work packages, incremental)

  • Anticipating how individuals and organisations respond to risk and the impact on projects

4 – Integrating stakeholders at the heart of the project strategy

  • Assessing stakeholder impact on project success and value delivery (acceptance)

  • Implementing tailored stakeholder strategies (engagement, support, training, communication)
  • Optimising the project governance model: defining effective governance and decision-making structures

5 – Set up dashboards to monitor project progress

  • Monitoring performance metrics (progress, Earned Value, OTD, DoD, time tracking, etc.)
  • Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to support project and programme management
