Commitment to society
Cegos is a socially responsible company. The Group is democratizing the access to education and training by belonging to and financially supporting several organisations.
Cegos became a corporate ‘Friend of UNICEF’ and financed work to revamp schools in Africa (Mozambique, Niger), in 2012.
For 10 years, Cegos supports the Planète Urgence association: Cegos team members have taken part in 80 humanitarian missions during their solidarity leave. The Group also fund 30,000 school kits for young children in Africa.
Cegos supports the non-profit LINGOs by allowing 45 top-tier international NGOs – including Oxfam, Save the Children, Care, WWF, World Vision and Catholic Relief Services – to use its e-Learning modules.
More than 36000 humanitarian workers and professionals of the voluntary sector also have access to Cegos e-Learning modules as part of two programs supported by the Foundation Cornerstone OnDemand.
To support the training of entrepreneurs in developing countries, Accenture and the NGO 1001 Fontaines created the Social Entrepreneur Academy with which Cegos collaborates. The Group gives training modules for the project managers of 1001 Fontaines which operates today in India, Cambodia and Madagascar.
