Our HR policy

The Cegos Group bases its work on a belief system : this is that by allowing people to succeed the company builds its own success. This belief of course influences our own human resources policy and means that we make the individual and collective upskilling of our teams an ongoing objective.

Real resources in the service of development of skills

Upon arrival each employee enjoys an à la carte induction course comprising contact-making with the main players in the company, an individual training programme, an induction seminar and exchanges. After this period of induction a support system accompanies each employee in his/her professional life with Cegos.

  • Regular meetings for sharing expertise and exchanging best practice.
  • Skills reviews regularly undertaken by managers.
  • Training plans in line with strategic projects and the development of key skills.
  • Opportunities for multiple internal development programmes.

Some facts and figures:

  • 31 hrs training per employee in 2009,
  • 63% of personnel in company are women of which 54 % are managers,
  • absenteeism 7.9% in 2009,
  • surveys of social climate held every 3 years.

A course of learning specifically dedicated to managers, a fundamental performance leverage tool

Managers follow a specific course of learning organised around topical seminars. These meetings allow them to exchange their best practices, deepen their knowledge both on the fundamentals of their job (managerial efficacy, communication, cooperation) and on its specific details (project management, innovation). This course is completed through conferences, workshops and reflection groups which support and develop the body of managers.

A professional environment centred on diversity

Diversity is a tangible reality at Cegos and has three dimensions:

  • Diversity of backgrounds of experts enriched by their very varied career paths
  • Diversity of professions making up the company, from the inter-company (open courses) training coordinator to the project leader consultant working with our clients.
  • Diversity through the male-female equality which permeates our company up to the highest level of responsibility.

Cegos is also an enterprise culture based on exchanges, transparency, trust and which values the rigorous values associated with our consulting core.

External consultants selected and trained by Cegos

Our training courses are delivered in close collaboration with a network of 1,500 independent consultants throughout the world. They are very carefully selected for both their professional and their teaching skills, often following a process of induction in the techniques of leading Cegos courses.

All of our external consultants:

  • must have 15 years experience in a defined area,
  • are selected after a series of interviews and a training simulation,
  • follow a specific Cegos course on training the trainer,
  • attend a complete course as an observer before leading courses themselves,
  • receive validation in terms of marks given by their trainees, at the end of a year of Cegos training courses,
  • can regularly attend training workshops to continuously improve their presenting techniques,
  • are regularly invited to meetings of exchanges with their peers.

Advantage of becoming a Cegos training partner:

  • minimum number of teaching days guaranteed,
  • no commercial business to deal with,
  • take advantage of all the Cegos teaching know-how.
